Course Description
This course is designated for junior and/or senior college engineering students as well as working professionals. This course covers basic concepts, theories and practices used for Semiconductor Physics. Topics covered include: Basic Concept of Solid-State Materials, Intrinsic Semiconductor, Concept of Energy Bands, Doped Semiconductor, Mass-Action Law and Charge Neutrality, Carrier Drift vs. Carrier Diffusion, Mobility vs. Diffusivity, and Einstein Relation. Students who sign up for this online course will be aided by a 4-day Study Plan to help them pace themselves, yet they can still freely learn any lecture in this course as many times as they like within the 3 months access time. This course includes English slides and Chinese Mandarin audio lectures.
