Course Description

On Jan. 1, 2004, a number of changes went into effect regarding the rules and procedures for filing an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty. This program presents an overview of the changes and focuses specifically on proper completion of the new PCT request and demand forms. In addition, the program provides a detailed look at the new Enhanced International Search and Preliminary Examination (EISPE) system. Familiarity with patent law is recommended.
