Course Description
The IBM® WebSphere® Portal solution provides a single point of interaction with dynamic information, applications, processes, and people to help build business-to-employee (B2E), business-to-business (B2B), and business-to-consumer (B2C) portals.
This course provides an overview of WebSphere Portal, introduces concepts and terms relevant to portals, and covers introductory administration concepts, such as logging into the portal, getting help, moving portlets on a page, and adding portlets and placing them on pages.
The target audience for IBM WebSphere Portal Fundamentals consists of scripters and application developers who will develop portlets and WebSphere Portal applications; system administrators who will install and configure WebSphere Portal and will administer the WebSphere Portal infrastructure, servers, users, and applications; and Portal end users.
