Course Description
This course is intended primarily for entry-level managers and team leaders who need to develop effective delegation skills. All good leaders need to delegate, because the alternative is to do all the work tasks alone. The essence of leadership is to assign tasks to others and direct their progress so that the other individuals can excel. This course will lead you through the three basic steps of delegation: identifying the task, assigning the task, and assuring positive results. Along the way, you''ll learn skills and techniques to ensure that your delegation is effective and appropriate, including defining the results you desire, discussing the delegation with the employee, monitoring progress, and assessing outcomes.
