Course Description
This course will focus on the writing and composition skills of the Medical Office Assistant student. The student will review the composition process, including editing and proof-reading. Special emphasis is placed on developing a professional writing style. This course will also review, facilitate, and reinforce medical terminology and basic grammar skills.
Upon completion of this course, the student will demonstrate mastery of medically oriented grammar, syntax, spelling, word use, number use, capitalization, effective research skills and the written presentation of ideas related to the activities regularly performed in a professional medical setting.
